Tapp is a smart city design cooperative made up of architects, data scientists, and civic hackers. Our Amsterdam-based company is committed to united the physical infrastructure of the 20th century with a robust digital infrastructure to meet the challenges and demands of the modern world.

Our aim is to revolutionize the way cities and citizens can maximize the potential of new technologies and understand how patterns of the present can shape a more economic, inclusive and sustainable future. 

Tapp builds teams for specific assignments, ensuring each project has the right balance of complementary skills needed to achieve the most effective results. This can range from designers to programmers to social scientists.

Most importantly our teams include policy makers and community leaders to represent why we are doing these things. Tapp’s projects have ranged from using cameras to improve crowds and recreation spaces to testing public reaction to autonomous vehicles.
