20 students masters level business students of the E.ON Inhouse Consulting GmbH participated in the “real” business, financial or public applications of smart meters, smart grids, smart home or e-mobility. The objective of the workshop was to give student insights into what smart really can feel like in reality and what the broad market conditions (e.g. stakeholders, finance, business models, customer experience, sustainability) are. The focus of the workshop was to make smart meter and e-mobility as tangible and “feel able” as possible. During the day we conducted a hands-on approach to the latest smart energy transition trends including Blockchain, Microgrids, IoT, Smart Meters, Vehicle-to-Grid, Local Cooperatives, Democratised Grids and the business models behind them
